Member Care Account Managers

Location: Hybrid

Employment status: Full-time and Part-time positions available

About You:

  • Are you passionate about creating a safe space for vulnerable people?
  • Do you love connecting with people on the phone and email? Do you love asking good questions to provide wise coaching?
  • Does your experience give you a full understanding of what it’s like to oversee ministries and programs that work with vulnerable people and how to manage risk (and have that not be an oxymoron 😊!)?
  • Do you enjoy training and influencing others?
  • Do you love administration and using your creative gifts and skills?
  • Are you comfortable recommending additional services to clients that will help their organizations?

Role Overview

As a Membership Account Manager, you will support approximately approxtimately  250 members by answering questions, providing advice, coaching and training, and recommending additional Plan to Protect services that will benefit their organizations. You will also assist with marketing and communications in order to grow our membership base. This is a key role for providing excellent customer service and increasing sales.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience implementing Plan to Protect® preferred
  • Exhibit pride and ownership in the vision of Plan to Protect of creating safe spaces for vulnerable people
  • Be able to champion our services and resources
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Internal solution–based sales experience, proven experience managing client relationships
  • 5 years or more of experience in a setting of working with vulnerable people and managing risk
  • Proven ability to provide coaching and share wisdom, and be able to say the hard things when necessary
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibit calm and reasonableness when pressure and situations arise
  • Act with sensitivity and integrity to safeguard all highly sensitive and confidential information associated with this role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or other CRM

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationships of approximately 250+ members
  • Providing coaching regarding risk management and safeguarding, and recommending practical solutions 
  • Coach practicums for individuals certifying to be a trainer
  • Conduct onsite training as requested
  • Mark policy assignments
  • Engage with clients proactively and responsively through phone and email
  • Meet targets for retentions, sales of additional services and number of client connections
  • Provide new sales opportunities to members that will make their organizations stronger i.e. regarding certification, training, policy writing, audits, screening
  • Assist with customizing, reviewing and updating policies
  • Stay current on new product lines, safeguarding best practices and sales techniques
  • Maintain customer profiles in Salesforce
  • Sales, Marketing and Communications:
    • Respond to requests for information from prospective members
    • Contribute to our marketing initiatives, strategy and execution
