Position: Inside Sales Rep

 

Position Description:
Plan to Protect® provides the STANDARD of abuse prevention and child and youth protection for organizations.  Our customized tools, training, policies and procedures help leaders and their organizations meet that standard of protection. With the help of our members and clients we continue to build our databank of best practices on risk management.

Our clients are made up of churches, schools, camps, clubs, community groups, municipalities, etc. 

Location:  Stouffville

PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT

Base:  Minimum Wage with bonuses when targets and sales are achieved. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Receive inbound calls and provide essential information about our resources and services to potential new clientele, 
  • Generate new sales by making outbound cold calls and warm calls
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions while showcasing the value added benefits.
  • Recommend resources, training, services based on qualified leads
  • Close sales, and task action items to team members
  • Schedule appointments for senior level leadership
  • Increase sales and meet monthly targets, including but not limited to daily call activity/volume, lead generation, qualified appointments and sales.
  • Accurately update and maintain the CRM with call activity and detailed notes.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with team and other staff.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Post secondary school education or a minimum of 2 years experience in a prospecting, business development, telesales or sales role.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and the experience working in a CRM environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, together with the ability to negotiate and influence. Bilingualism (FRENCH) is preferred. 
  • A team player able to work effectively in an open concept office environment.
  • A strong ability and sensitivity to communicate with individuals from faith based organizations and immediately transition to communication with community organizations that are non-faith based.

Position: Director of Education/Training 

Position Description:

The Director of Education reports to the President. This position will have general oversight and management of all areas of Training, which includes On-site and On-line Certification Training; Orientation, Refresher and Special Interest Webinars; and On-Line Training. Responsiblities also include overseeing marketing, and client management of Certified, National and License Trainers, homework assignments and coaches.  Administrative assistant support available.

Our staff team of 10, our 30 National Trainers, and 7,5000+ clients all love what we do and together we protect thousands of children, youth and vulnerable adults.

Location:  Ontario, Accessible to the Stouffville Offices

FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and oversee a variety of roles within Plan to Protect® including the Training Department, coaches and the National Trainers 
  • Work along side the other department Leads to meet training goals, identify further instructors and national trainers, and train new staff
  • Communicate with clients about training opportunities, questions raised by the certified trainers and members, as well as responding to requests for training proposals
  • Act as the Training Facilitator for various On-Site trainings, conferences, certification assignments and practicums 
  • Research and Develop a variety of creative teaching methods, training materials, new courses, best practices for abuse prevention and various articles for the PROTECT publication, newsletters and blogs that Plan to Protect® produces
  • Oversee the event planning for On-Site trainings across North America 
  • Work in conjunction with the President to develop and enhance the Orientation and Refresher trainings, Certification Training offerings, Webinar library and On-Line Course catalogue 
  • Participate in and develop training and marketing campaign strategies, including occasionally exhibiting and attending conferences on behalf of Plan to Protect®
  • Administration of staff responsible for Inventory of training supplies, maintenance of staff procedures, and working alongside the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing and payments of and for trainings

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in Education, Christian Education, or similar or five years professional experience in adult education
  • Exceptional Computer & software knowledge
  • Excellent communications skills – oral and written
  • Knowledge of abuse prevention an asset
  • Certified Trainer of Plan to Protect® - Strong Asset
  • Knowledge of program delivery working with children and/or youth
  • Superior interpersonal & networking skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Strong ability to time manage and meet deadlines
  • Maturity and high level of personal integrity and professionalism
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Well-developed internet, data base, e-mail and computer skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills
  • Able to work some flexible hours including evenings and/or weekends
